Difference between vinyl matt and soft sheen.

It s ideal if you ve got an uneven wall covered in imperfections that you want to hide. Gives a high sheen finish and is the hardest wearing of all the emulsion paints. It sits somewhere between matt and a silk finish and gives a beautiful classic look to woodwork and can also be used on walls when you want a heritage style look with a tough finish. Vinyl silk emulsion gives a shiny reflective finish.

Low sheen paint best for busy high traffic areas. Gives a subtle soft sheen finish and is more hardwearing than vinyl matt. Eggshell has less of a sheen than silk or satin and it does look like the surface of an eggshell the clue s in the name. Good in humid areas.
